Who we are

Blue Highway is a research, development, and technology solutions company that creates value for its customers through innovation. Blue Highway’s staff has expertise along all stages of product development. We can take you through the whole cycle, from concept to commercialization. Our core expertise is in the healthcare and medical device domain.

We provide three main services:

Our strategic partnership with Syracuse University connects us to state-of-the-art research, talent, and resources. We collaborate closely with our neighbors, including SUNY Upstate Medical University, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Syracuse Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, and LeMoyne College. Beyond our environs, we also work with a global network  universities and medical centers. Blue Highway knows how to partner with academia, leveraging its expertise for a commercial application.

What We Do

Basic and Applied Research: The majority of Blue Highway’s team holds a PhDs, and the remaining team members have earned masters degrees in diverse specializations. We actively keep abreast of technologies in our fields of expertise, participate in conferences, and pursue joint grants with our academic partners and industry collaborators. 

Engineering Services: Blue Highway works with companies and collaborators to address unmet technical and market needs. We put together interdisciplinary teams as an effective and novel approach to problem solving. Our people excel at proof of concept, rapid prototyping, technical evaluations, and provide innovative solutions to complex problems.

Intellectual Property and Market Landscape Studies: We have developed an efficient and effective method to vet ideas and innovations for new technologies, processes, and delivery channels. We then examine and evaluate new concepts against various intellectual property, business, technological, clinical, and regulatory scenarios in order to identify strategic collaborations. Finally, we accelerate commercialization by identifying the richest markets and most expedient channels to launch new products.
