Blue Highway researchers including Albert Di Rienzo (President), James DelloStritto (Principal Researcher) and Albert Golfain Ph.D demonstrated their prototype system for a Personal Status Monitoring (PSM) of patients with chronic conditions at the Future of Health Technology Institute, September 27th & 28th, 2010 at the MIT Faculty Club. The presentation was followed by the publication of a white paper entitled, The (Blue) Highway from Signal to Symbol, available upon request from the author:

Abstract
The wearable personal status monitor (PSM) is presented as an end-to-end solution for tracking the kinetic and physiologic state of a user. The general sensing algorithm framework is described along with use cases in the clinical, athletic, and military domains. Also presented are the mechanisms for contextualizing PSM data and linking it to ontological representations of clinical knowledge.
