Breakthrough Research in Infectious Disease

Albert Goldfain, Researcher and Computer Scientist at Blue Highway, was recognized for writing a paper titled “Constructing a Lattice of Infectious Disease Ontologies from a Staphylococcus aureus Isolate Repository.” Goldfain’s paper was recently accepted by the International Conference on Biomedical Ontology.

The third annual ICBO 2012 conference will be held in succession with the 7th annual International Conference on Formal Ontology in Information Systems at the Medical University of Graz, Austria. Goldfain has the opportunity to present his research at the 2012 conference, which will be hosted as an Early Career Symposium designed to give PhD students and postdoctoral researchers a chance to present their research. In addition to presenting his work, Goldfain’s paper will be published in a symposium booklet.
